Arthur ** Смотрела это кино вскоре после приезда в Америку. Так я узнала, что не все Кабаре, что с Лайзой Минелли.

Big Fish – чудная комедия, спасибо Рабиновичу за рекомендацию.
Blue in the Face, 1995***. Ностальгические Бруклинские зарисовки - сначала и в середине такое хорошее было кино, а в конце – бух в ямку. Кстати, там играет Джармуш.
Casablanca 1942 (High Historical Importance) Странно, среди знакомых американцев принято над этим фильмом подмеиваться и от его поклонников отмежовываться. Так делал даже наш умница-рабай, а ведь хорошее же кино. Смотреть обязательно, хотя бы потому, что он осознанно или неосознанно постоянно цитируется.

Enigma *** Мне нравится.
Fantasia (historical importance). Это кино много значило в свое время. Когда его смотришь, хочется сделать точно такое же, но с перламутровыми пуговицами

Fight Club *** Хорошо, только мне этот поворот сюжета, когда человек сам себе враг, надоел уже. И вообще, там дерутся:-).

MASH, 1970 **** Перед этим кино хорошо немного почитать о нем и о ситуации, о врачах и корейской войне.
Matrix –17-летний племянник показал мне этот фильм за 15 минут, проматывая лишнее и комментируя приемы съемки. В таком виде – вполне приемлемо.

Вот Люмета "12 разгневанных мужчин" еще люблю. :)
А вообще, трудно говорить - это, действительно, очень возрастные штуки. Сейчас я абсолютно уверена только в "Последнем императоре" и "Амаркорде" - потому что пересматривала недавно. Ну и "Дети райка" - это, видимо, самое любимое.
"Конформист" когда-то произвел очень большое впечатление, но это было много лет назад.
Да, еще "Ромео и Джульетта" - за сцену, когда Тибальд - Майкл Йорк - идет на площадь, жизни не жалко. :)

Посмотрела Последнего Императора, спасибо, что посоветовали. Впечатление сильное и противоречивое, даже написать о нем пока не могу, жду, чтоб устоялось.

Да, Тибальд в Ромео и Джульетте... Для меня эта сцена не только самая сильная в фильме, но и больше всего в духе Шекспира, как я его понимаю.
